First published in 1971, News, Notes & Deadlines (N,N&D) is released monthly from September through June by the Association of College and University Offices. Averaging twelve pages in length, each issue of News, Notes & Deadlines describes approximately 75 higher education grant programs, providing readers with:

• Name of the sponsoring organization

• Description of the grant or fellowship

• Deadline for submitting applications 

• Telephone number

• Website

All deadlines are confirmed with the agency or foundation immediately prior to publication and are organized into five project categories:

• Arts, Humanities & Education

• Science, Engineering & Mathematics

• Social and Behavioral Science

• Health & Medicine

• Multidisciplinary
